Brownson Youth

001 Brownson Youth

Youth Group
Brownson has a vibrant and growing youth group. We meet on Sunday nights, September through May. We come together for dinner at 5:30 PM and then break into Middle and High School groups. Students participate in a Mission Trip as well as conferences such Massanetta Springs in Virginia or Montreat Youth Conference.

Throughout the year, the youth join in fellowship and Christian growth, as well as service activities like visiting the home-bound, hosting a community Trunk or Treat and singing Christmas carols in Southern Pines.

The youth seek to live as Christ's disciples through our ministry, mission and fellowship with one another, with our church, and with our community.

Sunday School

Middle and High School Youth meet in the Youth Suite for Sunday School where they are challenged to grow their faith through interactive Bible stories and lessons that apply to their lives.

We seek to follow His path through five intentions:

  • To call young people to be disciples of Jesus Christ.
  • To respond to the needs and interests of young people.
  • To work together, youth and adults, in partnership.
  • To be connected to the whole church, community and the world.
  • To include all young people, reaching out and inviting them to belong to the community of faith.

We hope you will join us!
