Dead Sea - Holy Land Trip

Just 40 miles long and 10 miles wide, the Dead Sea is the world’s lowest inhabitable spot on earth. Biblically, it was a place of refuge for King David. Herod the Great built his famous fortress, Masada, on the shore of the Dead Sea.
Today, as in Jesus day, salt is harvested from the sea. In ancient time, salt was very valuable. When Jesus spoke about salt losing its flavor, he was referring to the salt that clings at the bottom of the loaf.
When floating the Dead Sea, little effort is needed to stay afloat. The water is rich in minerals and is said to have healing qualities. The minerals are used for everything from hand creams to fertilizers. Our tour will have an option of visiting the Dead Sea and the nearby UNESCO world heritage site, Masada

Due to increasing enforcement of Federal HIPAA laws (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) pastors no longer have access to hospital census lists.

Therefore, we will not know if you or a family member is hospitalized without you or a family member notifying us.

So please, contact the church office (click here), when you or a loved one is in the hospital.
