We welcome Everyone of all generations to visit our vibrant, growing church
Welcome!

Brownson Memorial Presbyterian Church is a family of faith where worship is vital, discipleship is vibrant and diversity is valued. We invite you to participate in the life and ministry of Brownson Church, and we pray that through your participation, your life will be nurtured.

As we honor our past, we are embracing this present season as an opportunity to dream great dreams! We enthusiastically invite you to share your gifts with us, as we look to God to equip us for transformational ministry in an ever-changing world.

On Sunday mornings, we worship at 9:00 AM and 11:10 AM, with coffee and fellowship at 10:00 AM, followed by Church School classes. Beyond Sunday, a rich variety of ministries fill the week: Bible studies, mission outreach events, youth and kid’s activities, music, and many other opportunities to grow in faith and service to God.

Join us – we hope you feel welcome here!

Who We Are

Brownson is a covenant community of Christian believers called to serve God. Our congregation is multi-generational. Some of our members are life-long Presbyterians while others come from various Christian faith backgrounds. All are welcome here. We believe in God the Creator; in Jesus Christ the Liberator and Redeemer, and in the Holy Spirit the Comforter and Sustainer. We seek to live and witness in the church, in our community, and in the world as called by God—clothed in compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, and love. We all are active participants in the life of the church, and are committed to individual and collective pursuits of Christian understanding.

We are a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA) under the Coastal Carolina Presbytery.  Brownson celebrated 75 years as a congregation in 2011.
