Deadline for registration is Wednesday, January 10, a minimum of five people are needed to make this class happen.

Traditional Adult Classes

The Ligon Class, meets in the Conference Center in room A and meets year round. This group of seasoned adults enjoy light fellowship, praying for and with one another and learning together, primarily using the quarterly material, The Present Word.

The Next Chapter Class meets in the Conference Center in room B and meets from September – May. This year, the theme of study is “God’s Divine Diversity.” This class explores the challenges of understanding our Christian heritage as well as navigating our changing culture from a Christian perspective. Collaborative dialogue enables participants to share their beliefs and focus on their relationship with God.   Additional  educational and social events scheduled throughout the year.

All in the Family Class meets in the Cornerstone Building in room 218. This class began as young adults and have grown together, adding new members along the way. Many are still parenting, while others are beginning to send their children off on their own. Sharing their stories and passion for acting on their faith throughout the week is a large part of what they do together. They meet regularly from September to May, enjoying a break in the summer months.

The Men’s Bible Class meets in the Cornerstone Building in room 217. These gentlemen study scripture together using the quarterly material, The Present Word. They are often heard singing from old hymnals before class.

Current Events Class meets in Fellowship Hall and discusses our Christian Response to the events of the week. Using local and national Newspapers, we share concerns, offer positive responses and pray together.

Other Volunteer Opportunities A team of three to five volunteers are needed weekly to help welcome people to Sunday Morning Classes and help them find their way, as well as check on classes, insuring that everything is running smoothly each week. Headquartered in the church library, this team will spread out all over the campus, including outside entry points.
