“The Gospel According
to Les Miserables”

 

March 17 and 18 ~ 7:30 p.m.

Both performances held in the Sanctuary

 

     A liturgical drama portraying biblical and historical characters that face the same moral challenges we face today.

     “The Gospel According to Les Miserables”, which does not follow the traditional Victor Hugo story line, uses music to accent contemporary Christian themes.
 

     In order to assure adequate seating, you must make a reservation and get a ticket.

     Tickets are available in the church office during the week or the Information Center in the Atrium on Sunday.

The performances are free, however, a free will offering will be received.

On February 26, the Bill Jones Series will present Rev. Dr. Lauren Winner, author and Duke University professor, who will be with us at both services and during the 10:00 a.m. church school hours.

Lauren has appeared on PBS’s Religion & Ethics Newsweekly and has written for The New York Times Book Review, The Washington Post Book World, Publishers Weekly, Books and Culture, and Christianity Today. Winner has degrees from Duke, Columbia, and Cambridge universities, and holds a Ph.D. in history.
