Learning Highlights
Invitation
The
classes and fellowship opportunities at Brownson are designed for those
who are interested in taking an active role in their own faith development
and that of their children. With each one baptized, members of Brownson
promise “to guide and nurture him or her by word and deed, with
love and prayer, encouraging them to know and follow Christ, and to be
faithful members of His church” (from The Book of Common Worship).
Our
Church School provides a place of Christian nurture and growth as we
come to know and make Christ known in the life of this church. As we
study the Scriptures, we experience the love of Christ through our personal
relationships with one another and our community.

We
are all part of God's family, and much of what this class
focuses on is family related--our topics, our concerns, and our
lives in general. And since we are one big happy family,
we share a fun-filled night out from time to time! Come
and join us--you are always welcome!

for hearty Christian fellowship and an opportunity to learn the Scriptures.

meets year round.
Next Chapter Class -
Room 218 Cornerstone Building
Stu
Kilpatrick, Coordinator; Bob Zumwalt, Communications; JoAnne Turner, Social Gatherings
The name of this class has two
meanings. As
older adults, our participants are looking forward to the "next
chapter" of their lives, and, second, it refers to the
"next chapter" of Biblical-based study. The objective is
to present materials that enable participants to fully explore
their relationship with God during this next chapter (stage) of
life. The format will be presentations in person or
through videos, followed by class discussion and interaction (no
small groups). Mostly, we are adults with 50 or more years
of life experience--looking forward to the next chapter of our
lives--but all are welcome.
Women's Gathering - Room 108 Education Building
Jeanne
MacGregor, Coordinator; Carol Lamphier, E-Mail
Teachers:
Determined by Coordinator
This class for women of all ages meets to examine contemporary and
historical Christian studies. The group is also involved in
outreach and social
activities.
