God’s Kids Fellowship

Kindergarten through 5^th Grade
2:30-4:00 PM
Second Sunday Each Month
September through May

Your child is invited to come and bring a friend to God’s Kids Fellowship on the second Sunday of each month from 2:30-4:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. The 5^th graders are also included on the “God’s Kids Council” which helps with planning and leadership for each monthly gathering.

An energetic team of caring adult advisors guides each God’s Kids gathering using games, drama, song, Bible stories, crafts, various forms of creative expression, and service. This is a fun-filled group! They make new friends while they laugh, play, pray, snack, learn, and experience together what it means to be part of God’s family, the church.

Parents are encouraged to accompany their children for special events such as mission “field trips.” Pre-arranged mission outings take the group off campus to places such as Sandhills/Moore Coalition for Human Care, the Food Bank, gleaning at local farms, Heifer Farm, etc. to visit nearby locations for service outreach.

God’s Kids also participate in special parent and child events called “Family Fun Days.” Among these are Trunk or Treat (near Halloween), church-wide Christmas Caroling for the homebound (December), Easter Fun Day (includes games and egg hunts), and an overnight retreat at Camp Monroe (late spring).
